We are helping Frank Water in a long term project.
Our aim is to raise £8,000 to build a clean, safe water scheme for a village in South India, in partnership with Frank Water. We have many events planned, and so far have been very successful with cake and craft sales, carol singing and our "Beloved Pets of Lucas Vets 2010" calendar. Jo arranged a supper and raffle that raised a fantastic £1,600, and running refreshments at a recent gospel choir evening raised over £200. Danni's Easter Egg Hunt raised another £140 and Joe received just over £1000 in sponsorship for running the London Marathon. Our Saturday morning plant sale added another £95 to our total. Thank you to Debbie and her partner Mark for growing a lovely range of veggies. Our '25 Year Celebration' raised just short of £900, and we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part. Most recently, Joe, Ellen, Rachel and Debbie did a skydive which raised over £1,000. Our grand total is now around £7,000 so we're almost there! Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
